Saskatoon Caribbean-Canadian Cultural Association Incorporated

 C/O Ms. Terri Rau, President

Dear Bill;

On behalf of the Executive and members of the Saskatoon Caribbean-Canadian Cultural Association (SCCCA), we would like to say a big "Thank You" for working with our pavilion this year during Folkfest 2010.

We were thrilled to have the quality of entertainment service that you, your staff and your high quality equipment provided us as we entertained almost 30,000 patrons during Folkfest. We feel you went out of your way to help us ensure a successful event. We appreciate throwing in the bubble machine to enhance our theme, "Under the Sea."

We can honestly say that our pavilion could not have been as successful without your expertise and great staff. The sound quality was amazing and we have already decided that we would like to continue this relationship and level of sound quality for our patrons next year.

I would be very pleased to recommend your services to anyone looking for a quality Entertainment Service Provider.

Thank you again!

Terri Rau

We are very happy with your professionalism in meeting the needs of the multiple facets of this three-day event. You found the equipment necessary to make our evening concerts and plays a success, ensuring that all could enjoy it.

Our musicians and actors appreciated the sound knowledge you provided them. Your music choices suited the group and made the Saturday night dance exceptional.

Thank you very much for your readiness and willingness to accommodate our needs with your flexible support throughout the weekend. I am very happy with the weekends results and recommend that all try your services to ensure the success of their event.

St. Thomas More College, Newman Centre Coffee House, March 2010:

"Night Owl provided an excellent service at a very good price.  They provided us with quality equipment, arrived with it on time, and set it up quickly and efficiently.  They were able to accommodate all of the acts we had, from singing, to guitars, keyboards, a violin, a four person rock band, and even a group of break dancers.  We were very happy with their service, and will almost certainly have them out again."

-Randy Knight
Coffee House Director

Saskatoon Catholic Diocese, Episcopal Ordination, March 2010:

"Our committee was most happy with the professional service provided by Night Owl Audio for the episcopal ordination of Saskatoon’s Catholic bishop March 25, 2010. Bringing in additional equipment in an efficient and timely manner, the Night Owl Audio professionals ensured quality sound for the 1300 people attending this important event in the life of our diocese. The liturgy required multiple microphones, as well as balancing the sounds of three choirs, a smaller singing group, and a number of musicians. We greatly appreciated how well the Night Owl team worked with volunteers, and ensured that the sound requirements during all parts of the liturgy were addressed."

Huskie Cheerleading Open 2010

I can confidently say that HuskieOpen 2010 was the best cheerleading competition Saskatchewan has ever seen!  We have been running this competition for over a decade and with Night Owl we again raised the bar.  Bill and Evan were nothing but professional allowing our team to focus on the competition knowing the sound and presentation was taken care of.  Thanks for a great show Bill, start thinking about next year: Bigger and Better!

St. Anne's Parish Coffee House 2010

Dear Bill,

Thanks a million for all your help with our January 29th Coffee House event.  You and your staff were more than helpful when it came to providing equipment and excellent live sound production.   Since it was our first event of this nature in our new parish hall, we were all "winging it" a bit.  It was impressive to see how much lighting and sound gear you brought along.  It set the standard way above our expectations.  We'll definitely have you back next year when we do this event again!  You were prompt and put in a lot of hours to make sure everything went smoothly.  Keep up the great work!

Mock Wedding 2010, TCU Place, Centennial Hall

Hi Bill:

Thanks a lot for the Mock Wedding gig.  My band and I think that you guys are first class people.  What I mean by that is; you told us to be there at a certain time for sound check/set up, and sure as hell your boys were ready on time for us.  Plus there was no "bitching" from your crew, no matter what we wanted - more monitors, or "what-evers" - you and your guys were very professional working with us.  We've done some pretty BIG shows in the past with BIG sound, and I think you guys rate right up there with the "big boys"!  You're very good at it, plus we heard a lot of good things about the front production from other people that were there.  So thanks again, and keep rockin'!

leader of the Beatles/CCR Tribute band

To Whom It May Concern:

The Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run for the Cure was held on October 4, 2009 and Night Owl Entertainment supplied the sound system for the event.  It was the first year Bill had worked with us and it was a pleasure.  Night Owl Entertainment staff were very professional and extremely easy to work with.  They were at the site late Saturday night to make sure everything was ready to go on Sunday morning.  Everything went very well and we will definately have Night Owl Entertainment at our event next year.

"I've been a part of the Irish Pavillion for 17 years, and since we've had Night Owl Entertainment working with us, we've had the best sound and production out of any pavillion at Folkfest.  The crew are very professional and upbeat, and you will never find a more fun group of people to provide quality production for your event.  The Irish Pavillion will never book a company other than Night Owl Entertainment."

Canadian Technical Asphalt Association, 2008:

Dear Bill,

As you are aware, we recently concluded the 53rd annual CTAA conference in Saskatoon.  This year's even attracted 360 delegates and 35 accompanying guests from Canada, USA, and other countries, as well as 49 students.

Thank you very much for working with us to create a "Saskatchewan Folk Fest at Boomtown" evening for the welcome reception on November 16th - we have gotten overwhelmingly positive feedback on the event, especially on the quality of the stage show performances, and we could not have done it without your assistance!  The lights and sound were very well set up and managed, and we were pleased to have the performances carried out smoothly under your supervision.  Please pass our thanks on to the rest of your staff who contributed to this event.

We are certain the attendees left the conference not only with increased awareness of current asphalt technology issues, but also with fond memories of Saskatchewan hospitality.  Thank you very much for contributing your services to this event - your professional approach and delivery were essential to our success as organizers.

Yours truly,

Ania M. Anthony and Blaine Morian,
Co-Chairs, Local Arrangements Committee

def SOL Productions, 2009:

The music service of choice for the
2006 Saskatchewan Winter Games!

"As the Chairperson for 'Village Entertainment' for the 2006 Saskatchewan Winter Games, I asked that Night Owl provide music services for two athlete socials to be held in the Village.  Night Owl was also asked to perform sound and video services for the opening and closing ceremonies at the Games.   Night Owl communicated thoroughly with both committees and provided excellent sound for all venues and strong video support for the opening and closing ceremonies.  The crew were punctual and flexible which was very important during an event like the Winter Games when set-up times are dictated by the sports events that precede the socials and ceremonies."

~ Kevin Schmidt,
Teacher at Melfort and Unit Comprehensive Collegiate
